ETC Executive Managers

 

 

With offices throughout New South Wales and Queensland, our ETC Executive Management team is responsible for providing leadership throughout the organisation.

Our Executive Managers come from a wide range of backgrounds and combine their collective knowledge, experience and skills to contribute to ETC's ongoing success.

Our Shared Values define the characteristics of those we want to join us, the way we make decisions and how we expect our people to interact and perform in their roles. 

Peter Wilson

Interim Chief Executive Officer

He is a career local government manager having worked in the industry for over 33 years specialising in organisational development, strategic planning, corporate governance, community engagement and business excellence.

He is also a consultant specialising in local government executive support and project management.

Peter has a strong background in community involvement and has held executive positions on a regional education committee, local surf club and golf club board.

Jenny Barnett

National Manager Employment Services

Jenny has extensive small business management experience. She has worked in retail management for 15 years and more recently has spent seven years working in the employment services industry.

Reason for joining ETC:

I really enjoy working in the Employment Services Sector. I find it very rewarding, yet challenging. The Employment Services team hopes to continue its tremendous work in changing people's lives for the better. We are privileged to be able to make a difference and see the outcomes of our work within our communities - this is a powerful motivator.

Diane Swift

Financial Controller

Diane has 25 years experience working as an accountant and financial controller for a range of businesses, including a national law firm, University Co-operative Bookshop and Sydney Theatre Company.

Reason for joining ETC:

I enjoy working in the not-for-profit sector. After moving to the area from Sydney 5 years ago, I was excited to join ETC and be part of its work as a community-based organisation

Jackie Parkinson

National Manager Business & Strategy

Jackie has a strong background of working within regional development agencies and not for profit organisations. She is an experienced manager of projects, partnerships and corporate initiatives which encourage business growth, improve services and build stakeholder capacity.

Reason for joining ETC:

I am committed to developing and implementing strategies to enhance the growth, reputation and influence of ETC as the organisation takes on an increasingly state-wide focus.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive professional development relating to management, governance and economic development

Kylie Murgatroyd

National Manager Marketing

Kylie spent almost 10 years at Qantas Airways prior to starting at ETC.  During her time at the airline, her roles focused on sales development, communication and marketing for Qantas both internationally, within Australia and the regional airlines of QantasLink. 

Reason for joining ETC:

It is satisfying to work for an organisation that is focused on helping people overcome barriers to achieve their future ambitions. I also enjoy being a part of a community based company that constantly gives back to the communities in which we operate.
