The Queensland Government JobsAssist program offers advisory and mentoring services up to support and sustain eligible Queensland businesses in this volatile environment. ETC has been approved by the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovations (DEEDI) to deliver consulting assistance to help your business.
Through our experienced consultants, ETC will identify issues impacting your business and develop an action plan to improve your business performance!
ETC will offer you:
- access to a personal business mentor providing one-on-one business sessions
- complimentary IBIS World benchmarking report (valued at $700)
- free business resources
ETC has been providing employment, training and business services for 21 years. Our business mentors are experienced and continue to provide expert assistance to approximately 1,800 businesses per year from all industry sectors.
ETC will help you develop and implement stategies to ensure your business remains viable in the future! You will learn how to improve your:
- management skills and reporting processes
- efficiency and productivity levels
- business and employment results
Is your business eligible?
The JobsAssist grant is available to businesses that have an established operating base in Queensland and:
- employ 10 or more full time employees
- be experiencing one of the following:
(i) the variation in working capital is negative and has declined by more than 25% between the two points in time ie. 30 June 2009 and the most recent reporting period; OR
(ii) the business begins the two point period with negative working capital and remains in that position at the end of the two point period.
- have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and registered for GST
- be one of the following:
(i) located within one of the regions listed below; OR
(ii) fall within one of the key industries listed below
(Note: Businesses who meet all of the criteria however with less than 10 full time employees are still encouraged to apply).

Bundaberg - Hervey Bay- including areas covered by the Bundaberg Regional, Fraser Coast Regional and Gladstone Regional council
Southern Wide Bay - Burnett - comprising areas covered by the Gympie, South Burnett and Fraser Coast regional councils and the Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council
Caboolture - Sunshine Coast - comprising areas covered by the Sunshine Coast and North Moreton regional council
Ipswich - Logan - comprising areas covered by the Ipswich and Logan City councils.
Industry sector eligibility
Does your Queensland buiness fall within one of the key industry sectors below and meet the criteria above? You may be eligible for the JobsAssist program!
