Grow your business with the SSHED Program

The award winning SSHED program, a business accelerator program developed by Sutherland Shire Council, provides a pathway for businesses wanting to grow.

Delivered by Enterprise & Training Company and funded by the NSW Department of Trade & Investment (T&I), the SSHED program offers successful applicants the following benefits:

When you join the program you will receive:

• An experienced business adviser is assigned to work with your business and an initial 5 hours business planning workshop (face-to-face) is set up. The aim of this workshop is to set goals for your business, map out the next 1-2 years, set action plans and much more.
  • Every 3 months:  2 hour session with your program co-ordinator to discuss progress and keep you focused.
  • Every 6 months:  2 hour review with your adviser (face-to-face) to track progress and reset new goals.
• Business specialists: 3 x two hour sessions (face-to-face) with a selected business specialist to work on specific areas of your business. Specialists include sales and marketing experts, accountants, business consultants, lawyers and more.
• New skills:  two business skills training session (MYOB, Microsoft office, online selling and more)                                               
• Online tracking: Receive email reminders to help manage your action items and projects.
• Seminars & networking: Invitations to business seminars and networking events.
• IT support:  Option for backing up your computer every working day (if connected to SSHED VPN).                                               
• Website hosting: FREE website hosting for your website. (This only applies to websites with static pages).
• Email addresses:  3 free email addresses for your business and hosting of your email server.  This means you can have "business personalised" email addresses

All of this for only an annual membership fee of $200, plus $69.95 (inc. GST) per week.
