Our Head Office is based in Coffs Harbour and we have over 100 employees in NSW with a presence in Queensland and Victoria.
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer/HR Assistant to join our Finance team.
You will be responsible for:
- · Operating the weekly and fortnightly staff payroll;
- · Maintaining employee records and maintaining the database;
- · Processing Superannuation, taxation and other payroll deductions;
- · Assisting with Workers Compensation;
- · Payroll projects
- · Year end payment summaries and other information required by the ATO;
- · Maintenance of the electronic Performance Appraisal system;
- · Administering the Traineeship agreement processes.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working within a team environment and will easily relate to people at all levels. As a minimum we require:
- · Knowledge of and experience in operating a medium sized computer payroll system;
- · Knowledge and understanding of awards and relevant legislation;
- · Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- · Demonstrated experience in the timely delivery of accurate information to meet set timelines and deadlines;
- · Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, self motivation and professionalism;
- · Well developed communication and customer service skills and experience;
This position would suit someone who has demonstrated experience working in a busy administration office to a deadline and who can utilise Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word to a high skill level.
