The Ngurrala Green Team, is a bush regeneration project employing approximately 9 Aboriginal trainees per year in the Nambucca Heads area. The Green Team works on significant Aboriginal sites, Landcare projects and council parks and gardens, and was recently contracted by the RTA for regeneration of roadside verges and the construction of bird nesting boxes along a new stretch of the Pacific Highway. ETC has managed this project since 2006 in partnership with the Northern Rivers Catchment Authority, Nambucca Shire Council, North Coast TAFE and the Ngurrala Aboriginal Corporation.
Repair to Country is a partnership with the Northern Rivers Catchment Authority, Coffs Harbour City Council, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Yarrawarra Aboriginal Corporation and Coffs Harbour Local Aboriginal Land Council to provide for the repair and regeneration of several significant Aboriginal sites in and around Coffs Harbour. ETC has secured funding to employ Aboriginal trainees undertaking Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management.
