Women in Business on the Mid North Coast are being urged to take advantage of an exciting opportunity to participate in the Department of State and Regional Development's Women in Business Regional mentoring program.
The program is being delivered by ETC Business Solutions on behalf of the Department of State and Regional Development.
ETC's Business Solutions manager, Ruth Gollan said the program was designed to improve the viability and growth potential of small businesses owned and managed by women.
"Women have a unique style of running a business and the Mid North Mentoring Program is designed specially for women who want to expand their network, improve their skills and grow their business," Ms Gollan said.
Ms Gollan said participation in the program offered the following benefits:
- Improved business management skills
- Tips and advise from experienced business people on how to manage and grow a business
- The chance to explore options to reduce costs and attract new business
- An understanding of business assistance and support available locally
- The development of local business networks
The 35-hour program begins in May and runs over three months. It's open to women who own and manage a business within Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and Nambucca region and includes business skills workshops, networking events and group mentoring sessions.
The cost of the program is $165 (Inc GST).
Ms Gollan urged women in business on the Mid North Coast to take advantage of this great offer.
"Normally a program of this standard would cost much more, but thanks to the support from DSRD, women in business on the Mid North have access to an affordable and highly successful program," Ms Gollan said.
