Thirty local business women have united to grow their businesses by joining Women in Business, a mentoring program delivered by the Enterprise & Training Company (ETC) on behalf of the Department of State and Regional Development.
"What an amazing adventure we are about to embark on. I am so excited by the prospect of all that I will learn and the new friends and contacts I will make," said Diana Carr from Alchemy in Bellingen.
The first workshop, Understanding Your Business Finance, will be presented by Tracey Collins, from Project National Pty Ltd. Ms Collins is a qualified accountant and has operated her own accountancy practice on the NSW South Coast for over 12 years.
"This workshop is designed for small business owners who want to increase their profits and improve their understanding of the financial aspects of their business," Ms Collins said.
"I specialise in helping micro business owners achieve success through training and support in all aspects of business management."
The workshop will begin tomorrow, Wednesday 17 June at Coffs Harbour Ex Services Club.
Registrations are now closed for this program. However, later this month a new mentoring program begins. The Mentoring for Success program is to be delivered by ETC and is partially funded by the Australian Government.
