ETC Wins at Sunny's Business Awards

ETC (Enterprise & Training Company Limited) has attributed its success at the recent 2009 Coffs Harbour Sunny's Business Awards to its hard working staff and the ongoing support from the Mid North Coast community.

ETC's general manager, Michael Close said he was thrilled the company won the Professional Services category.

"ETC started in Coffs Harbour 20 years ago and although we have recently gone through a process of rapid growth and change with now 19 offices between Sydney and Brisbane, we are still very proud of our roots on the Mid North Coast," Mr Close said.

"Our success is only possible through the support of our clients and the Mid North Coast business community and we would like to personally thank them for utilising our employment, training and business services over the past two decades."

Mr Close said ETC has had a significant impact on the local community since its inception in 1989.

"With Mid North Coast offices in Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour, Toormina, Bellingen, Dorrigo, Nambucca, Kempsey, Port Macquarie and Taree, ETC has found work for more than 40,000 job seekers, helped a large percentage of employers fill vacancies, and provided a professional recruitment and temping service.
ETC has delivered a range of training programs to more than 24,000 people and business support to more than 30,000 small business operators," Mr Close said.

"We are very proud to be recognised as a professional organisation and this award is a real credit to our Board of Directors and 150 hard-working staff who work tirelessly to help change the course of people's lives daily."

"As a not-for-profit organisation all surplus generated from ETC's operations are reinvested in the community and back into the company. We strive to help create a positive future for the communities in which we operate and look forward to our continued partnerships."
