Running Wild Adventure Tours, a new business to the Coffs Coast, will have the ride of their life when millions of viewers will experience their signature tour 'the Dorrigo Freefall' on Sydney Weekender this Saturday.
Officially opening two weeks ago, the dynamic duo Gary and Inhal Eagle, recognised the opportunity to conduct a safe downhill push bike experience from Dorrigo to Coffs Harbour along one of the most scenic roads in Australia, Waterfall Way.
"Guests are picked up from locations within Coffs, enjoy morning tea, conduct safety training and, single file, follow the tour leader down the mountain with an emergency vehicle in tow" Mrs Eagle said.
"Tours are catered for those with little riding experience to adrenaline seekers, corporate to team building groups and, can also include breakfast."
"You don't have to be super fit, or ride fast. You would be amazed the amount of over 60's who receive an exhilarating adrenaline rush riding at their own pace", Mrs Eagle added.
The pair agree the business would have been a lot harder to get started without the mentoring and support of Enterprise & Training Company (ETC) and the Australian Government's New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) program.
"NEIS provided the structure and highlighted major fundamentals of running a business", Mr Eagle said.
"ETC's valuable one-on-one mentoring, guidance and support to ensure our business thrives is fantastic", Mrs Eagle added.
National Business Solutions Manager, Karina Morrison said the NEIS program is a terrific opportunity to embark on a business venture while receiving financial support for 12 months.
"The pressure to set up and grow a new business is minimised, knowing financial support is available for everyday living", Ms Morrison added.
