This course is for anyone who wants to operate a forklift and acquire the skills to obtain a WorkCover ticket.
On the completion of this course, participants will have learned how to operate a forklift in line with the national standards and should be able to reach the criteria for obtaining a WorkCover ticket.
Participants will then need to pay WorkCover fee of $65 for a photo license, in person at Australia Post or directly to WorkCover.
On successful completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Plan and prepare work
- Conduct pre-operational checks
- Operate forklift
- Attach, secure, lift, carry and place materials
- Carry out operator maintenance
- Select, remove and fit attachments
- Clean up
