Super Amart Benowa has been announced as the Enterprise & Training Company Limited (ETC) Employer of the Month.
Office Manager Billie Frank said she was both shocked and excited to receive the recognition.
“Super Amart is a large company that offers stability in employment to a large number of people and I suppose that, along with the fact that we only hire people that fit the culture of our company and have a strong customer centric attitude, is what makes us a good employer,” Ms Frank said.
Ms Frank said she used to handle all the recruitment for the Benowa store but recently outsourced this to employment service agencies such as ETC.
“ETC take all the hard work out of finding the right staff for me,” Ms Frank said.
“I used to spend hours going through resumes and sifting through online applications and now ETC does all that for me.
“I ring and tell them the type of person I’m looking for and they get back to me within 24 hours.
“ETC has a strong understanding of our business and the type of people we are looking to hire.
“Without ETC, I wouldn’t be able to get people on board as quickly as I do and this frees up our time to focus on creating a positive experience for our customers.”
Super Amart has recently recruited 4 new staff through ETC, including 3 Sales Assistants and 1 Dispatch worker.
ETC’s Gold Coast Employment Services Manager Tony Eager said as a jobactive provider, ETC’s services come at no cost to employers.
“We take the hassle out of recruiting staff by screening and shortlisting candidates that meet employer’s specific needs,” Mr Eager said.
“We can also assist with the interview process, pre-employment training programs and some candidates even attract wage subsidies.”
