Recruiting staff has just been made a whole lot easier with the launch of a new employer APP called eLink designed specifically to meet the needs of employers on the Mid North Coast, North Coast and Gold Coast.
eLink is the brainchild of local employment services provider ETC.
ETC CEO Jenny Barnett said eLink was a free App that enabled employers to lodge a vacancy wherever and whenever it suited them, with a guarantee that an ETC employee would respond within 48 business hours.
“We all know how time consuming and costly it can be to screen, shortlist, interview and conduct reference checks on potential employees,” Mrs Barnett said.
“By embracing technology, we’ve developed a solution that enables employers to sift through the top 10 candidates in each of the key industries in the region and to select those candidates they would like to learn more about.
“An ETC employee will then respond to the enquiry with a resume and will discuss your interest in an interview.”
ETC’s General Manager Employment Services Damon Munt encouraged local employers to download eLink from the App Store or Google Play.
“eLink not only makes it easier for employers to fulfill their recruitment needs it’s also a great business resource providing information about candidate trial programs, wage incentives, how to create a diverse workplace and the benefits of job sharing,” Mr Munt said.
Mrs Barnett reassured employers that were adverse to technology that ETC could still be of assistance.
“ETC has been matching job seekers with employers for the past 26 years so we understand how time poor employers are and how difficult it can be to fit staff that are the perfect fit for your business,” Mrs Barnett said.
“If you’re not into Apps ETC can still assist you!
“As a jobactive provider, ETC offers a hassle free recruitment service that comes at no cost to employers because it’s subsidised by the Australian government.”
