My Future Fest Career Champions

Do you want to get involved and help make a difference for young people in the Clarence Valley?

We are looking for businesses that show leadership to join with us and showcase career opportunities at My Future Fest to be held at Grafton TAFE on Tuesday 8th August 2017 from 10am – 4.00pm.

 

Be part of an event to Inform and Inspire

students, jobseekers, career-changers

As a Career Champion you can:

  • Provide DEMONSTRATIONS and DISPLAYS of your product or service
  • Share your knowledge about career pathways, skills shortages and employment
  • Bring along a YOUNG EMPLOYEE as a role model who can share their experiences
  • Promote COURSES and TRAINING
  • Provide HANDS-ON examples of work and training tasks
  • Advertise JOB VACANCIES / TRAINEESHIP OPPORTUNITIES
  • Explain the application process and employer expectations
  • Provide APPLICATION FORMS (if applicable)

Together we can create a prosperous future for young people in the Clarence Valley

This event is subsidised by ETC, Clarence Valley Council and TAFE NSW and therefore there is no cost to be involved.

  • Site Booking

    Each site includes:

    • Approximately 2.5m x 2m space
    • 1.8m trestle table plus 2 x chairs
    • Option for power

    *Sites will be outdoors, with an inside option in case of wet weather.

    If you have a gazebo or marquee please bring it along.

  • Please enter a value greater than or equal to 1.
  • Catering

    Catering will not be provided but the TAFE canteen will be available and food vendors will be on site for you to purchase food at your own expense.

  • The Venue

    The venue is an extension of your workplace and hence the same Workplace Health and Safety Legislation issues apply. Remember to inform your staff of potential hazards and ways to avoid injury while onsite. We are responsible for ensuring that members of the public are not exposed to hazards on our site, and reserves the right to inspect your equipment to ensure that you comply with Workplace health and Safety regulations.
