New Co-working space in the Hastings proves to be popular with local businesses

Enterprise & Training Company (ETC) are excited to be launching a new Co-working space for the Hastings called BEACON.

ETC Business Advisor Renae Tate said there had been a lot of interest and demand for the space.

“We’ve reached maximum capacity and have a waiting list for potential openings,” Ms Tate said.

Ms Tate said ETC was pleased to be in position to offer the co-working space as a much needed resource for business owners.

“This is a new concept for the Port Macquarie Hastings area, although it’s been on the radar of various business networking groups and government organisations for the past few years and was put back on the agenda recently by local entrepreneur Kellee Morgan from House Mate Ninja” Ms Tate said.

“BEACON is a joint venture with Port Macquarie Hastings Council, Hastings Business Women’s Network, Hastings Business Enterprise Network, Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce, Helium Hastings Innovation Network, and the local Micro Business Forum.”

Ms Tate said the new co-working space would give small business owners, home-based businesses and start up business people a shared space to work from to share ideas and knowledge, network, support innovation and entrepreneurship.

“Members will receive benefits such as WIFI, some printing, tea and coffee facilities, use of a meeting room, lunchtime pizzas as well as mini workshops each morning and on the spot business support from ETC Business Advisors,” Ms Tate said.

Port Macquarie’s ETC office will host the new space within its conference room located at 133-137 Gordon Street and will be available for use every Wednesday from 9am to 4pm.

Renae encouraged local businesses to attend the Official Launch at 10am, Wednesday 13th July at the ETC Port Macquarie Office to check out the facilities and register any interest

“The Mayor Peter Besseling will be attending to officially open the space and we have invited some VIP’s from the Ministers Office and Regional Development Australia,” she said.

  1. It’s good that co-working office space ‘culture’ is growing rapidly. And it is also good to hear that more offices are opening as people are loving these spaces. I will love to represent my office space if anyone is looking to work at Mooloolaba.
Many thanks for sharing this info with us. Keep sharing. Keep it up…
