What is a Traineeship? back A traineeship combines employment with an opportunity to undertake structured training that will lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Traineeships are available for people aged between 16 and 64 years. |
Incentives for Employers back Traineeships provide a number of benefits for employers:
Trainees become increasingly skilled, productive and motivated as they learn about your business and industry; Employers may be eligible to receive attractive financial incentives; Structured training is paid for by the NSW Department of Education and Training; and Training may be completed on-job or in the classroom, depending on the needs for your business. |

Off-Job Training back Off-job training is structured training provided by ETC to complement on-job instruction.
Classes are held weekly in each of our training centres. Classes are kept small to ensure our training staff can provide a more personalised service to each trainee.

Flexible Work-Based Training back Trainees undertaking flexible work-based traineeships complete their training in the workplace. training is provided by the workplace coach or supervisor and is supported by ETC.
ETC supports trainees in the following ways:
Assist with the development of a training plan and training strategies Monitor the trainee's progress Deliver off-job training of required Organise workplace assessments |
