ETC is now offering an exciting pathway to becoming a qualified Chef through our Yes Chef Pre-Apprenticeship Program.

The program consists of Commercial Cookery Pre-Apprenticeship training via the following two options:

  • Certificate II Kitchen Operations SIT20416
  • Certificate II Hospitality SIT20213 (cookery focus)

Learning covers:

  • Preparing dishes using basic cookery methods
  • Make sandwiches and appetisers
  • Working effectively in a commercial kitchen
  • Menu planning and costing
  • Food hygiene
  • Cleaning and preparation
  • Safely use preparation equipment

This training creates a possible pathway into employment, Traineeship or Certificate III Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship
