Lisa Hanlan – First National Real Estate

“At the time I thought a tertiary qualification was my only option.  I found the practical nature of the Diploma of Management invaluable.  While completing the units, I was able to implement what I was leaning directly into the day to day management of my business.  It’s the best thing I’ve done in my working life to help my business.”

“We have also provided our facility for ETC Training Services in conjunction with four of their WorkIT courses which has resulted in local job seekers being employed. In our facility we’ve been very lucky to partner with ETC to have potential staff come here and do work experience. So we’ve been able to actually see how they work like a ‘try before you buy’. Our relationship with ETC is smooth – we give ETC our requirements for the students before they are able to step foot here and ETC Trainer Vicki has everything ready from the get go.”

“I was very excited when I found out because I’ve wanted to do childcare all my life. I’ve always wanted to work with children,” Tarni said.

“Doing the actual real life training with ETC made me feel more confident. It was really good. Rather than just doing the training in class and then getting thrown into the deep end.”

Seeing a flyer for ETC’s Certificate III in Aged Care and Home and Community Care course, Judith quickly applied. “ETC has been absolutely wonderful, I would highly recommend them. Michelle our trainer was excellent. She looked after us and then helped us to find a work placement,” Judith said.

“I use ETC because I need to trust that I’m going to get good trainees. With ETC I know that I’m getting trainees that have been vetted and will be good to work with. Also that I’m getting a trainer who knows what they are going on about and can work with the students – someone who turns up, does the job and helps me out. I think it’s a wonderful partnership.”
