You are here:

Not sure what you’d like to do? Or have a career in mind but don’t have the mandatory entry qualifications or skills just yet?

Have you considered gaining a qualification through TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)?

Benefits of going to TAFE or another RTO:

  • TAFE is the largest and most experienced provider of vocational education and training in Australia. Each year they train over 125,000 students from more than 90 countries in over 600 program areas.
  • TAFE qualifications are recognised across Australia and respected worldwide as well as offering a range of study options from a Certificate to a Masters Bachelor degree.
  • It’s not just about being in the classroom, TAFE combines vocational theory and hands-on training in state of the art facilities, laboratories, and workshops so you get the best of both worlds.

You may be thinking that you didn’t like school, or maybe you weren’t the top of the class so why would you enjoy studying with TAFE or an RTO? You can choose to study at your own pace, including part-time, full-time or online. With smaller classrooms and more one-on-one time with your teacher, you’ll be well on your way to gaining the skills and knowledge needed for your dream job, as well as being supported and surrounded by like-minded people.

Studying can be costly, but you can access concession funding when being on Centrelink, otherwise, you can apply for VET-FEE Help where you don’t pay a cent until you are earning over a certain threshold. This means you can study now, and pay later.

ETC’s Transition to Work program can assist you in finding your dream career, and guide you on the appropriate pathways to take. We have helped hundreds of young people gain study and training which then lead to employment. Ask us today how we can help you!

Activate Workshop- This series of workshops will give you the edge by revealing some secrets about how to succeed at job applications and interviews, the things employers want and expect in the workplace, and how to be an awesome employee.
